Our Story

I am Wale Adebanjo, The Visioneer of WALE ADEBANJO & THE SALTERS. I am a Nigerian born British citizen who has lived in the UK for over a decade. A Masters degree holder from the University of Sunderland. I studied Information Systems Engineering. Basically the type of music we play is Christian based and it is the one that makes people get up from their seats at parties to dance and enjoy themselves to the fullest.  We mostly do Weddings and Birthdays but we are open to other social functions. We have played for many dignitaries in the UK like the former High Commissioner of Nigeria to the United Kingdom held at the Shard London. The Chairman of the Central Association of Nigerian in the UK. We also performed at the just concluded Nigerias 55th Anniversary held at the Nigeria High Commission. London and Abuja House respectively. I must also remember that we performed at one of the governors from the South Western States of Nigeria's daughters introduction ceremony.

The band started in Nigeria in the year 2001 and was relaunched in the UK in 2007. It is currently a 6 man band ( All seasoned professionals ) going from strength to strength every week. What sets us apart from other band is our time keeping, our unique way of delivering already known songs, our state of the art sound system and above all the glory of the Lord Jesus in us.
